Feeling an unshakable conviction to act, Kyle quickly gathered donations—everything from baby diapers to non-perishable food—collecting nearly 4,000 pounds of supplies in just a few days.
On October 4, he left Madison, Mississippi, hauling an open-top trailer to Statesville Regional Airport, where volunteers with United Carolinas Calvary (UCC) were loading trucks and aircraft bound for flood-ravaged mountain communities. Along the way, torrential rains poured for over an hour, yet—miraculously—none of the uncovered supplies were damaged.
For 72 hours, Kyle served alongside UCC, delivering aid to some of the hardest-hit areas: Burnsville, Spruce Pine, Asheville, and Boone. On October 6, our Vice President joined the mission, bringing another trailer load of relief goods.
This trip not only brought physical relief to countless families—it marked the moment God placed a clear calling on Kyle’s life to found Faith In Disaster.
